NMJTOOLBOX2 1.6.0.3 (FOR NMJV2) 2/3/400 Series & VTEN

1.6.0.3 – 19/3/16

Added/Changed
Updated to MediaInfo 7.83 to support DTS:X detection. NOTE: NMJToolbox2 will download the new version for you but you will have to exit NMJToolbox2 and extract the new dll in the zip file into your NMJToolbox2 folder, overwriting the mediainfo.dll that is already there.)
Added support for DTS:X to audio overlays
Added auto fix for nfo files that have the old <3D> tag when being imported into the database

Fixed
Error generated if adding an audio overlay and the overlay file does not exist.
Leaving nfo files open/locked after use.
Error when adding a new video with nfo and no local art and no imdb/tmdb id.
Error importing nfo files where no TTID or TMDBID present.

  1. I have a substantial Christmas / Holiday Season video collection (Christmas videos are stored in a separate directory, or on a separate external hard drive) that I like to include in the general video lineup during the holiday season each year. In addition, I have manually added the “Christmas” genre tag (keyword) to all of the Christmas videos, as it makes it easy to display a list of all of the Christmas videos when selecting the “Christmas” genre.
THE PROBLEM: If I remove the Christmas video collection from the PATHS list during the off-season, I also loose the Christmas genre tags that I painstakingly added to each of these videos, plus any manually added video posters / covers or fan-art too.
I need a solution that allows me to make my Christmas video collection disappear or hide during the off-season, and then allow them to re-appear next holiday season and be included with the rest of the main video collection on the “Main Movie List” next Christmas season WITHOUT having to manually re-add the Christmas genre tags again to each video title, – one at a time, — again.
And FINALLY, if there is NOT an easy or fluid way for me to accomplish this task each year, then is it possible for you to eventually add a new feature that can allow end users to TAG certain movies or to allow specific movies to ‘HIDE’ from view, based on a specific genre so those TAGGED videos do not show up or appear with the general population with all of the other videos in the general video collection, thus allowing those videos to retain all of the custom genre tags and any related custom fan-art and video covers too, when they are hidden from view? Any solutions would be greatly appreciated to simplify this process. Thanks

  2. Hi David. Unfortunately what you are requesting is not possible with the NMJ or NMJToolbox2. When you remove a path from the database all of the files that are in the database that use that path are removed as they are no longer valid for that database. NMJToolbox2 does warn you of this and you have to confirm when removing paths.

Secondly, for something to be in the database and not to be displayed (for whatever reason) it would be the NMJ that would need to do this not NMJToolbox2 so I would suggest that you propose this to CloudMedia. There is nothing I can do to stop the NMJ displaying anything if it is in the database.

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
